Happy Accident = Optimal Storage Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a year ago and I'm relatively pleased with the results. I used it for short term on/off-loading of camera footage when first purchased and now I mainly use it for editing software catalogues and photo storage. Based on my experiences with other SSDs, the transfer speeds are about the same as a T7, though I haven't done any official testing. I transferred a little over 1TB worth of content to another comparable SSD and it took around 26 minutes. During that time, the T9 got pretty dang hot, so make sure you have a relatively cool surface to set it on. Overall, you get what you pay for when buying a Samsung SSD but I feel the T9 doesn't really have any beneficial qualities to warrant it's higher price over a T7. To each their own I guess...
