Freezer light freezing up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not happy. The freezer light keeps icing up. The toggle switch freezes causing the light to stay off. The upper edge on the freezer door gets ice mostly on the center of the door. A person doesn’t expect that on the second day of ownership. Very disappointing.

Missing the mark

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a firm believer in Whirlpool products for many years and can honestly say I'm disappointed with this product. The space isn't comparable at all to my Whirlpool side by side that this replaced and I have major concerns with the freezer. I place 2 bottles of water in the freezer one hour each morning for work and they don't even have a glaze of ice in them when I leave. My side by side would freeze them solid. And the ice maker leaves a lot to be desired. Not happy with product, but stuck with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This appliance replaces an older Maytag appliance and I really like the external drawer for cheeses and cold cuts so that I don’t have to open the entire fridge doors to access those items. Access to ice and water is another feature I really like and the freezer is sizeable and provides an easy view and access to everything it contains.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the measured fill option which is why we chose this, however not happy that you can't change the default setting of 8 ounces. Otherwise, the interior layout is great and the fridge functions very well.
