Leaning door shelves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came with the home we purchased. We have the exact same refrigerator at our other home so we know the layout and what fits where. The bad part of this new refrigerator (and not our 3 year older one) is the shelves on the doors do not fit snuggly and actually lean downward at a very noticeable degree. When the shelves are clipped onto the door’s mounting pins, the pins which attach to the shelve’s upper part are too far forward on the door so they sag forward as soon as any item(weighted item) is placed in them.
Our older exact same refrigerator’s door shelves fit snuggly and straight but the new fridge’s shelves lean inward 10 - 15 degrees causing anything put in the door shelf to slide downward and inward. Just a simply lazy design flaw that should have been caught well before production on this “Updated” model even began.
Management must have said, ‘That looks/performs really bad but it’d cost too much to add a spacer to fix it so just ship it as is.
Poor, lazy door design on an otherwise nice refrigerator.

Disappointing starts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disappointing start. Interior fridge light lasted 10 minutes. Tried all the troubleshooting but no luck. I am hopeful as Whirlpool has always been a good product for me. But the cost was considerable to immediately have an issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ice maker is very loud when the water is filling. the "door ajar" and light switch are on the wrong side of the door; the "ajar "reminder light will go off and the door will still be ajar.

Disappointing Purchase beware

I just had this refridge installed and what a disappointment. I compared the size to my old whirlpool and they were identical but when I received it the refrigerator was much smaller. I could not check it out prior since no floor models were available. I feel like have taken 10 years back in time with the size. Shelves are too small and door shelves are too narrow. Luckily I save the shelves from my old whirlpool and cool swap out the new ones as they were too narrow. I will have to make do but if you listen to this review you will not have to.

Good product, limited space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the refrigerator a little over a month ago. I bought this model because I had the same one last me for 12 years. I was hoping for more improvements and it actually has less. This model makes more noise and has less space than the older one. Other than that, I do like the fridge. Also, the freezer compartment cannot be removed so it is extremely difficult to clean the bottom.
