The jury is still out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator and it arrived two weeks ago. It is the right size, and I love having room in the bottom drawer freezer. I am trying to figure how to deal with the lack of "on the door" space for condiments and milk. The ice machine is working well but, the loud sound coming from the motor/solenoid when the water is filling is not acceptable. May need to replace the whole appliance to rectify, and that is a pain. It took hours of trying to find the answer to this, on-line, per chat that never completed, and finally on the phone. Very difficult contacting an actual PERSON to find out if this is normal. Finally had a plumber check it and learned it is the solenoid making the loud noise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Refrigerator about a month ago and love it! The beverage drawer is what sold us on this model. It is so convenient to have for cold drinks. We had this model in a home we sold 4 years ago and decided to buy another one in our new home after the refrigerator that came with our home purchase started having problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whirlpool apparently believes that ignoring my original request to correct the problems and the question I posed is good customer relations. We have a refrigerator not performing as it is supposed to and instead of responding with a human being (as requested) the answer is to send an email with suggestions from the manual which we have already tried. Only a call to our home telephone with a phone number identified as Whirlpool is acceptable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect depth. between counter depth and standard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's what we wanted. Depth is 3 inches less then alot with this style which would have stuck out weird. It fit perfectly.
I wish they included a booklet on how to open icemaker to clean ir shut off not having to go on line for info.
Ice maker dropping ice is alittle loud. But we got use to it quickly.
