[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Enjoy the convenience and features. Only question is about the damp feeling on packages in freezer. Objects are frozen but damp on outside. Love the drawer feature. My husband is in a wheelchair and this allows him to get snacks and make sandwiches, etc. on his own. Great feature to have. Freezer layout is convenient and it is easy to access contents.

It replaced a similar Whirlpool refrigerator that had a broken icemaker. It lasted only 8 years which is very disappointing.
So come back in 8 years and check if my opinion is the same.

Still bonding with my new refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have just replaced my whirlpool gold French door refrigerator due to defrosting issues. Where the upper unit was warm in the lower part of the refrigerator was cool. The freezer worked just fine. I struggled almost a year, unit every couple of months down to every three weeks. I replaced it with another whirlpool gold, but I am very disappointed on how small the interiors is due to the size of the icemaker ~ love love love all the ice, but it was a compromise. Also my last refrigerator had LED lighting on each side, lighting each shelf. The new ref. Has one light at the top so I find the refrigerator is very dark inside compared to my old unit. At the show room it shows bright in an empty refrigerator, but when you fill it with food it gets darker so far those are the only two complaints. I absolutely love, The third drawer for cheeses and meats!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loud noise 1 min after ice drop, lasts 7 sec. Whirlpool did not respond to two "email" attempts to contact them. Whirlpool Chat's recommendation was to go to their 3rd party repair rep (only one to choose from for my area) and let them decide if repair needed and who would pay. I looked at the repair rep's reviews ans chose not to contact them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
