Very Basic ... limited features ... not convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought this a month ago while I was recovering from a broken ankle and the old refrigerator broke over night . The style is very basic. i was not able to be with him. The door trays are very small and are angled outwards so when you open the doors the bottles almost always fall out . Also the right door does not seem to seal closed very well and often is open. There is no door alarm to warn you that it is open. It does make a good amount of ice.

Refrigerator storage shortcomings--

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace a 13 year old Samsung-- was unhappy with the reliability of the Samsung. Wanted to support US based company so went with Whirlpool.. Same basic layout as the Samsung but the refrigerator storage, door storage, and lighting is not as convenient or useful. The ice maker takes up too much room inside the refrigerator section and the door storage on that side is very little. Center pull out drawer is larger and more useful than Samsung, but no temp control. Freezer section seems larger and easier to use--

At first glance we were set on another side by side but didn't feel as it was any type of upgrade from our previous one. Then we looked at the 4 door and as it took a little to get use to we really like it.
