Not very pleased!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator sucks! I have this same style of refrigerator at my other house, Maytag brand and love it. I bought the whirlpool brand because I needed a smaller size fridge. For beginners, the icemaker has stopped making ice twice within 3 months for no apparent reason. It just stops and starts on its own. I called the service number and the first thing they suggested was an extended warranty. Do they already know that this is a piece of junk. We will see what the repair man has to say. Other features that I’m not happy with… The refrigerator tends to be a bit on the loud side when it’s running. It also shoots out ice really fast normally overflows my cup. Also, the left hand door closes rather hard. You have to ensure that you push the door closed. There is no alarm if the door is left open. Overall, very displeased with this model. Good luck in your search

4 Fridges, 2 Service Outfits, +10 house visits

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the course of 9 months, I was provided four fridges, two of which were damaged upon arrival, and two that malfunctioned and made a loud banging noise when water was being used with the ice machine. It was a nightmare experience calling Whirlpool, exchanging emails, being told they don't cover noises, scheduling +7 service visits with two different organizations to my house. Absolutely terrible experience. The model does not have a great amount of space under the ice machine. The shelves aren't as flexible as other manufacturer's shelves, e.g., cantilever shelves. The programming of the amount of water is nice and unique but not worth getting based solely on this. Overall, I've lost confidence in Whirlpool, their products, and their service repair abilities.

Features I Don't Like.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the 1st time in 50 years I have purchased a Whirlpool appliance that I'm not happy with. I do not like the ice maker in the refrigerator. I lose a lot of storage space. I'd much rather have the ice maker in the door, like our last one. Also, the drawer containing the ice is difficult to open.
Facing the refrigerator, the door on the left is difficult to close. Is doesn't close smoothly like the door on the right.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator a couple of weeks ago and are very happy with it. The refrigerator looks good, runs quietly. No issues thus far. Why not a 5 star rating? Two items of frustration - 1. No care and maintenance manual was included. I was forced to download an online copy. 2.
Whirlpool sent me an email with a link to video to become familiar with all aspects of the new refrigerator. The link sent me to a nonfunctional website.
I would recommend this to a friend!
