Water dispenser amount inconsistent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I like this product a lot. There are a couple of quirky things, though.
The measured water dispenser is a great innovation. I have found, that after several calibrations, the dispensing amount is inconsistent. The first dispense is never the full amount, whether I set it on 8 ounces or 24 ounces. it is always about 1 to 2 ounces short. The second dispense is at the correct level.
Also I don't see a way to disable the pad lights on the water/ice dispenser. There is a button on the door where I can turn them off after they come on, but they stay on unless I turn them off. I want them to turn off automatically when I'm finished with my dispensing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was to replace our present French door refrigerator. I am not pleased with some of the features. The freezer section is very nice and the extra drawer is handy, saving energy when there is no need to let cold air out by opening the larger doors to retrieve items, however the refrigerator is poorly designed. The shelves are not interchangeable from side to side. The ice maker is very large and quite noisy, taking up a large portion of the space. I have one of the larger shelves that I cannot even use as it will not switch to the other side.

Hopefully a good purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. Purchased three weeks ago. Pros: larger than my Samsung French Door. Cons: Inside drawers open from the top where the opening could collect food. Much better if you could open the drawer with fingers grabbing drawer from the bottom side of drawer. Ice dispenses at the rate of a calving glacier.
There should be a way of slowing it down other than, shutting off ice maker until there is almost no ice.
The side shelves are made of very light plastic. If a shelf was to drop, it would disintegrate.

Looks lovely in my kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago and am so happy I did. Plenty of room and it looks lovely in my kitchen. I wish there was an alarm when the doors are open, instead of a little red light, and the amount of ounces calculated when filling a glass with water is WAY off. So use a measuring cup when following a recipe.

A lot of good features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Whirlpool refrigerator about a month ago, and we like it a lot. We like having a drawer to put our lunch meats, and all of our cheeses, and can biscuits, separate from the regular part of the refrigerator.
