Great Counter-depth Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good- We had this for about 3 weeks now and are very satisfied. We like the flexibility of this design. The freezer is great as well as the performance of the ice maker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the look and feel of it, but the parts seems to be cheaply made and crack easily.
The door to the water filter feels so fragile like it is ready to break at the last touch.
The shelfing on the left door with the water dispenser has already cracked. it makes me hold my breath to think the others can also crack at the least touch. You need to have detailed instruction videos to show how to use and change the water & ice dispenser settings. I couldn't find any on line for the model fridge that I have. It was so frustrating when the setting switched from fl. ozs to mls. for water volume. I figured it out, but others may not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new fridge. I should have done more research of the fridge configuration. Not as much door storage space as my side by side & the shelves are short. The electronic functions in the door are easy to understand. Love the 2 separate freezer compartments. I can use one side for daily use & the other like a deep freeze. The maker is in the door rather than taking up valuable freezer space. Love the square cubes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor refrigerator performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been somewhat disappointed in the refrigeration performance of our Whirlpool 4 door counter depth refrigerator with ice maker. The rifrigerator would not operate properly without filing the freezer with a case of water bottles. Everything spoiled in the refrigerator when the freezer was not loaded.

Not what I expected from Whirlpool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator with ice maker/water dispenser in the door apparently has a manufacturing defect which causes the upper left door to close on its own by about 3/4 when you need it to stay open. It is a replacement for another of the same style which did the same thing. I thought the problem was a fluke or I wouldn't have replaced it with the same model. The last installer made sure the door stayed open before he left, so all looked good. It only began closing on its own when the fridge reached operating temperature, and BEFORE any food was placed it in. The problem continues once stocked. Closing can sometimes be limited to half-way by holding the door open for 30-60 seconds. Otherwise the door closes fairly hard and painfully on one's shoulder and back.
I hope Whirlpool pays attention to this issue. It took 5 months to get a replacement when repairs over the previous 2 months didn't work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had it for 5 days, and the main panel went out. Had to call for repair, said the part would take 1 week to arrive.... There went all our groceries.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
