I do not recommend this refrigerator, it started to make a very loud noise in the freezer part and Whirlpool could not repair it because the parts are not available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] overall the fridge is ok. I like the versitility of the 3 compartments. 2 issues, shelf height in the fresh food section is not good. the middle shelves should be split so at least one side could accomodate taller items. this is compounded by not having adequate door shelves for condiments etc...the door shelve are very narrow on the icemake side so you dont have much space for condiments.
Temp control is also very confusing especially in the freezer section. It is set for 4 degrees, yet my digital thermometer shows temps as low as -15. ice cream gets so hard that you cant scoop it.

Icing over of parts issues

Disappointing performance issues in the last few months since original purchase new in Dec '25. Lower left freezer section cooling components iced over (pushing the fan against foam insulation) and had to be de-iced. Door was never left adjacent for any period of time. Recently, the water supply into the ice maker iced over (thus no water into the ice maker tray) and also had to be de-iced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Possible causes for frost/moisture, temperature fluctuation, or door issues:
Improper door installation: If doors were removed and not reinstalled correctly, it can lead to doors not closing or sealing properly, frost/moisture, temperature fluctuation, door misalignment, or incorrect door switch actuation. Refer to the Owner's Manual or Installation Instructions for correction.
Doors left open or opened frequently: Leaving the door open for long periods allows humidity into the freezer, causing frost build-up. Frequent opening can also introduce humid air. Minimize door openings and ensure the door closes completely without obstruction.
Improper door seal: An improper seal on the gaskets of the refrigerator or freezer doors can cause humidity to form. Check the seal for obstructions.
Blocked air vents: Blocked vents can cause moisture build-up or excessive frost. Ensure there is proper airflow between the freezer and refrigerator compartments. Cold air moves between compartments through vents, which are located in different places depending on the model.

Horrible product. Poor design and low quality

Received April 2025. In March 2026 water was pouring out of the door, the ice maker stopped working and temperatures fluctuated causing food spoilage and ilness. Five repairs later the fridge was still not working and Whirlpool refused to replace it. Don't waste your money....buy a real fridge.

Expensive mistake

Fridge has completely stopped working and gone into full break down mode, 18 months after it was purchased. Started having problems with lower fridge compartment just after the 1 year warranty ran out. Do not recommend.

Terrible refrigerator

We have had nothing but trouble from this refrigerator. It has leaked twice and had to have both valves replaced and then the icemaker leaked inside and a cooling element had to be replaced. Both times it started with a grinding sound and we are now hearing that sound again. It’ started before it was even a year old. DO NOT BUY!

Nice Design!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the design! Haven’t had it a month yet, still learning to fit everything into the different compartments. Luckily just my husband and I, not sure it would be big enough for a family of four. Perfect for us retirees. Only problem so far is a bit of noise when it runs, hopefully that will settle down, if not will call to have fixed.
