Software is below expectations

The watch as a watch is perfect. Good quality build! Very good hardware.
But the software and especially the watch faces available are below expectations. The smartwatch competition is great and the price tag of this watch is so high. It’s the most expensive smartwatch in the market. I should be able to choose the watch face I want and adjust it the way I want! I also had the Epix Gen 2. It had some nice watch faces but these are not available on fenix! A Garmin watches faces should be available and we should be given the option to use them and adjust them. The ones available are ok impossible to adjust like the ones that come with the watch!!! Garmin needs to improve this urgently!!

Amazing screen, great battery life

went from Epix Gen 2 to Fenix 8 and it was a big upgrade. Highly recommend the jump. The AMOLED screen is a must for the 40+ crowd. Battery life, sensors and funtionality improved significantly. Overally love it.

Way too Complicated

I’ve had an Apple Watch forever and it was average it was just like having a baby phone on my wrist which was OK if that’s what you’re into. I tried to Whoop for 30 days and hated wearing two devices if I needed to watch. This thing is awesome, I know it’s a lot of money which is lame but it’s worth every penny the battery life is awesome the metrics are incredible. It’s just a fantastic watch

Insane watch

The watch is unbelievable! As someone who has been an Apple Watch user for years, I finally made the jump to a Garmin watch and have never looked back. As an athlete that runs, cycles, swims, hikes etc. It was crucial that I had a reliable piece of equipment that is with me at all times. I could honestly talk for days about all of the features this watch offers that I absolutely love! But I will try to keep it short and just add that the battery life is game changer as well has having a super bright LED light on you at all times. If you are thinking about picking this watch up do it! It has been one of my best investments that I have made.

Love it but I wish it could…

I love my Amoled Fenix 8 51 mm, a big upgrade from my Fenix 5x Plus. Since I travel through different time zones frequently, I wish I could keep a selected alternate time permanently stay on, not only for few moment and then goes back to my watch face.
