Garmin really did a great job with the Fenix 8 AMOLED. I have owned a Fenix 3, Fenix 5, and Fenix 7x pro. Each one was an upgrade from the previous version owned, but the fenix 8 really seems to have it all. I opted to go with the AMOLED display over the SOLAR simply because of the display. The battery lif of the AMOLED is still the same for me as when i used the solar display (27-29 days) But the bright colorful display and smooth operation of the touch screen is hard to beat. If you are looking fo a smartwatch that will meet all of your needs then this is the watch for you. It truly is worth the price!!

I upgraded from a 7 to the new amoled and it's perfect you can see it so much better so crisp and clear and awesome screens. I love the new functions of answering calls on it as well it comes in really handy so I can keep working while I talk. Only thing I don't like is pic messages don't show up on it and you can't respond to texts unless I just haven't figured that part out yet. I started wearing garmin 3 years ago and will never change brands.

Great product just a little too big for my wrist. I should have went with the 47mm.

I use it primarily for fitness and golf. It does all the things I need it to do. Battery charge is amazing. I have had the Fenix 3, 5, 6, and the 7 and have loved them all. Garmin makes solid gear.
