Upgraded from Epix Gen 2 Pro. Noticed a big downgrade in terms of all the buttons on the watch, it's not as responsive any more. Separately, despite being a 1000 dollar watch, the UI is often lagging and unresponsive on this watch. It's very disappointing. I would recommend skipping this generation and wait for the next iteration.
This watch is absolutely incredible in all aspects, be it monitoring your health or your workouts! I replaced my 5 year old Venu and am delighted I did. Likely the clincher for me is my doctor from Mayo Clinic wears one and he highly recommended it!!
I love the watch .I upgraded from epix 2 pro . The only thing indoor like is the way watch dim in low light condition so it’s almost impossible to read :( o need it to be in bright levelling choose since i want to use it in bad lighting . I hope you guys will release the update for it since I know I am one of many many people who have the same issue. Please help us “ blind” people :)

Thank you for taking the time to sharing your review with us! The ambient light sensor found on some Garmin watches works to provide the user with the right amount of brightness in order to view the screen depending on lighting conditions. This allows the display brightness to automatically adjust, which can conserve battery usage and prolong time between charges.
You can manually change the brightness level setting on your watch by holding the middle left button and selecting Watch Settings > Display & Brightness > Brightness or Backlight.
That said, we are always working to expand on the quality and performance of our products, and valuable feedback like yours is vital in our product development success. I encourage you to use our Ideas Portal to submit any feature requests or improvement suggestions directly to our team of innovators for future consideration: Garmin.com/Ideas. (KS)
The built in flashlight itself is so worth it. I use it multiple times a day. The dive computer feature is also great.

Great Battery Life and Awesome Features!
I use this watch daily for running, MTBing and strength training. the watch performs well and the battery last about 3 weeks. I really like the suggested workouts which keep me on track. this feature is great wether you are just getting started or seasoned runner/cyclist. if you are interested in tracking your fitness progress this is a great option and I would highly recommend.
