Terrible new stove

I bought first one 2/26, oven poured out extensive amount of smoke, filled condo. Got another one delivered on 3/26. The oven is fine, but the stovetop cannot get hot enough to stir fry, sear any meat, and takes FOREVER to boil pasta. Tech came out, and Sid nothing wrong with the stovetop, just put a lid on a on to boil water. What a way to use a brand new stove. DO NOT BUY ANY WHIRLPOOL,ELECRRIC STOVES. I AM NOT NEW TO COOKING AND USING A STOVE, BUT I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A POOR STOVE, LET ALONE A BRAND NEW ONE. CAN ANYTHING BE DONE?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

water takes a full hour to boil

This range was brand new with a new build we bought. It immediately had a bad motherboard, so they had to come out before we even moved in to replace that. (The tech scratched it in the process as well.) Even brand new, our water takes a full HOUR (we've timed it) to come to a boil. And yes, we use a lid everytime - which we all know shouldn't even be a quasi-resolution. Please DO NOT purchase this product. Also, we have to keep re-calibrating the oven temp bc it's never consistent.

Front Control Electric Range Model Number WSES7530

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range on 02/26/2026, and the oven has proved to be a disaster. I am a baker, and baking is chemistry. It requires CONSISTENT TEMPERATURE for the yeast in the cake mixture to rise. If the display panel shows 350 degrees, what actually happens is a "cycling" up to 375 degrees (while still showing 350 on the panel), then slowly moving down to 325 degrees, and eventually reaching the area of 350. I've baked 2 cakes in this oven, and they came out heavy and dense, not tender and soft, as my cakes usually are. The yeast in the pastry must rise in a constant temperature. Also, when you open the door to stick toothpicks in the cake to check for doneness, the HEATING PAUSES, and must cycle up to 350 again when you close the door. Are you kidding?? I want to return this range, and get a simple one that has an oven with consistent temperatures, and if I had known this was going to happen, I never would have bought this appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your insights with us. We value your time and would like to look into the concerns with your Electric Range. Please see the following for some troubleshooting tips
Oven Cooking Troubleshooting Tips
Air Circulation: Allow 2 inches (5 cm) of clearance around baking pans and oven walls. Do not line the entire oven rack or oven bottom with aluminum foil, as this blocks airflow.
Bakeware:
Dark pans absorb heat, resulting in darker browning.
Light, shiny pans reflect heat, resulting in lighter browning.
Follow manufacturer's and recipe's recommendations for bakeware size and type.
Rack Position: Most baked goods perform best with a single rack.
Top Rack: Generally for toasting or baking.
Center Rack: Used for most baked goods, cookies, layer cakes, and casseroles.
Bottom Rack: Generally for roasting meats.
When using multiple racks, distribute them evenly for good air circulation.
Refer to your Owner's Manual for specific rack suggestions for your model.
Oven Calibration: The oven provides accurate temperatures but may cook faster or slower than your previous oven. The temperature calibration can be adjusted. Perform a Bake Performance Test to check if calibration is needed, and refer to your Owner's Manual for specific instructions.
