Keep your old appliances!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought in February. Triple burner on front right only had inner and outer burner working. The second ring was not working. Still waiting. Also bought matching refr8gerator at same time...have a claim on that too! aKeep your old appliances and just get them fixed when needed. This new stuff is pure junk!

Bad purchase

Bought a set of appliances from different vendors had no trouble with installation until I came to the stove from the beginning the Wi-Fi set up was a nightmare, and then there was the function on the stove that would not turn the burner off. What a frustration finally thought I had this all set up and now after using my new ceramic cookware. And I was cleaning the stove with a microfiber cloth after it cooled. I noticed a big scratch on the surface. Called the people up where I purchased the product from and they told me I needed to put a special coating on the top of the range before using it so it wouldn’t scratch now I have this big scratch on my stove. I can’t get rid of. It looks deep within the range top I’ve only had it for a month and I’m scared to use the burner for fear. I’m going to make it worse I really wish I could get some advice and try to get a hold of customer. Service is impossible.

Slow to cook.or even boil water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Takes 20 minutes to boil a teakettler of water. Using the double front burner for a larger pot it never comes to a rolling boil. Boiling water for corn on the cob....had it on high and it would not come to a rolling boil.
Control panel on top is super sensitive...it turns on the oven when I just try to wipe this panel clean without turning the oven on.

DON’t buy one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been cooking on this for two weeks now. Actually called a repairman out to see if there is something wrong with it that can be repaired. No it’s normal, I was told. 4” of water in a kettle, with a flat bottom, lid on, appropriate sized burner, takes THIRTY OR MORE MINUTES to boil! Ask yourself how much time you have to waste waiting that long for water to boil. I am deeply disappointed. I feel I paid way too much money to deal with this nonsense. I’m 71 and will likely have to deal with this piece of garbage the rest of my life. DON’t buy this range. I have bought many Whirlpool appliance through my life. But after trying to talk with someone at Whirlpool about the problem, and seeing this sorry design, I will never again buy a Whirlpool appliance. Your quality has hit bottom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has rubber piece sticking out on top of stove near burner. Just a matter of time before it melts from heat. Glass is discolored on oven door.

couple of things

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We, (the wife and I), think this was a great investment. We both love all the features and the easy to clean top. I would have given it 5 stars, but, without a flashlight, I can't see what the knobs say. They are "under" the cook top and have small lettering. Some taller knobs would be helpful, and larger lettering would be a plus. The unit should have a book sent with it. Why should I have to "download" it?

Do not recommend this range

The cooktop can only be clean with water but water alone doesn't remove oil residue. The burner won't stay on continuously. My panel is defective. Still waiting on parts. I haven't been able to use the oven since I bought it last month!

Whirlpool electric slide in range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks of product are appealing. Functions are all working as expected. What I don’t like is the small size of the bottom drawer. I understand I have a bit more oven space which is great but I miss the bigger drawer bottom to keep extra small pans & lids. Plus it is so cheaply made out of flimsy metal it practically bends out of shape. I took it completely out to make sure it was evenly on the glides correctly & actually cut myself on the raw sharp metal edges. Very disappointed!!
