Burners won't stay hot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range a month ago and the burners will not stay hot enough to boil water. I am waiting for a repairman to fix the burners.

Not impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, the control panel failed less than two weeks after purchasing the oven. I understand that this can happen on occaision, but it is our experience. The technician who checked our stove was great, but we have have been without a working stove since Friday, January 30th. We also learned that extra care needs to be taken when cleaning the control panel. We had to purchase a product for cleaning computer screens as well as microfiber cloth. To be candid, I would prefer a stove with simple controls, no clock, no internet wifi and a contol panel that can't handle a vigorous cleaning with a damp cloth. We have a stove with numerous features that offers little benefit. All it needs to do is cook food. I don't need a "relationship" with an appliance!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

water takes a full hour to boil

This range was brand new with a new build we bought. It immediately had a bad motherboard, so they had to come out before we even moved in to replace that. (The tech scratched it in the process as well.) Even brand new, our water takes a full HOUR (we've timed it) to come to a boil. And yes, we use a lid everytime - which we all know shouldn't even be a quasi-resolution. Please DO NOT purchase this product. Also, we have to keep re-calibrating the oven temp bc it's never consistent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice range but can only lock the control panel

Just got this new electric range last week and so far we do like it, but we do have some dislikes. My main disappointment is that the control guide for this model says the lock feature can lock just the cooktop, cooktop & control panel or just the control panel - this was a huge plus for me because I have young kids. I got it and called Whirlpool support because I was only able to lock the control panel and come to find out that even though the control guide provided for this model says it can do both locks, this specific model can only lock the control panel. Makes absolutely no sense to me to have a control manual not be accurate for the specific model it's for.
I don't find the cooktop any easier to clean with the new "wipe clean coating", but it does have a nice look to it.
The sound for the oven preheat and timer going off is set to MAX and it is definitely not loud enough. I wish I could increase the volume more and also change the notification sound to be a simple beeping. I can't hear it going off if I am not in my kitchen.
I like that the knobs don't easily get turned on since they're in the front and I really like having 3 racks in the oven.

Difficult clean up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am giving this appliance a 3 at this time because I am not happy with the "wipe clean" feature at all. Water alone does nothing for cleaning up oil overapill. I have black streaks on the burners that I can not get o ff with the water cleaning method recommended. I have ordered the Affresh cleaning kit. If this does not work I will be returning this appliance. I want my stovetop clean without these marks. It Otherwise I have no complaints with the performance itself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great stove! It’s very tech savvy! I love that it comes with WiFi so I can work the range from my phone, if needed. The glass top is beautiful and has wonderful sized burners. The range heats up quickly and has more options than I’ll probably use in my life haha! Overall it’s a wonderful addition to anyone’s kitchen!
