Features of the doorlatch need to be improved. It's difficult to open latch with my thumb or finger tips which cause soreness to do so.

We've only used it for a few weeks now, but so far it's been great. So much quieter than the other one we purchased last year that literally sound like a 737 taking off since the day we purchased it, then started make noises that sounded like someone was inside trying to beat their way out of it.

Poor door latch design

Unlike most microwaves this one has a door lock feature. If you try to open it before cook time is finished, as people often do, it only takes a few times before a tiny piece of plastic on the flimsy plastic latch inside the door breaks, a switch won't close and the device no longer functions.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
