It is right size microwave for my kitchen with all cooking and safety functions. It blends with all GE appliances in my kitchen. GE service is reliable with trained service persons.

Sturdy microwave GCST16S1W1SS

Purchased this s GE 1.6 cu ft microwave to replace our Sharp 1.8 cu ft unit. Unfortunately, GE didn’t have a 1.8 sized unit available to fit our existing built-in cabinet cavity. Appears to be a sturdy & hopefully durable machine. However, the LED display isn’t as bright as our other kitchen appliances with LED displays. Very dim, especially at night time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great value and sensing features

This microwave is a great value for the price! We were very impressed with it's sensor abilities, such as sensing we had not yet removed the protective film and sensing that food was not inserted into the microwave. It's so simple to use that my kids were able to figure it out without much help.
