The phone is great, it's the required google control I don't like. The google ap is running all the time and I can't find a way to shut it off. It has cut my battery life in half.

I really like this phone. I had a good one that did most everything I needed, so I was hesitant tp upgrade. But I'm glad now I did! More memory, better battery life and even a larger screen, it all adds up to much nicer and easier to use device. I wish I hadn't waited so long now.

Seems like a decent phone. I am not one of those people who spend their lives on the phone. I basically use it for......surprise.....phone calls. And maybe play some some games when I have to wait in a doctor's office or similar circumstances.

Phone is a great bargain, but too many apps, like Facebook, Gaming Hub, Google Partner Setup, Meet, One UI Home, OneDrive, Parental Controls, Private Compute Services, Samsung Checkout, Samsung Core Services, Samsung Cloud Assistant, are installed by default and cannot be uninstalled. There were a lot of other unwanted games and apps installed by default, but at least I could uninstall them.
How about just installing the core software needed to get the phone installed and then present a list of OPTIONAL software which MAY be installed if the owner of the phone wants them?
