This phone is a much appreciated gift from my husband.The old phone operating system did not support needed apps and the OS could not be updated. So far, it appears this one provides all I require.
However, I was very upset when I learned that my privacy settings were NOT transferred from the old phone and, in fact, had been replaced with settings that allowed FULL access and tracking of all my accounts.
I hope that I have corrected this invasion of my privacy and outrageous threat to security. If I find I haven't been successful in eradicating the situation, customer service will hear from me.

I haven't totally reviewed all of this phone's features as I received it as a Christmas gift. But so far, I like this phone a lot. I'm sure the charging cord is better and faster, but is not the same as what I had before. So, I have had to buy adapters: the Type C wall plug for one. Otherwise, works good!

Good phone for what I paid. I needed an upgrade over my previous phone as I was running out of space and the battery was starting to fade.
Notable annoyances:
The space bar is not easy to hit without accidently hitting the app controls (the ones that list the running apps or hide the current app). It feels clumsy and I'm always having to go back.
Plus the typical Android annoyance of not being able to remove certain apps nor being able to shift them to the external memory card instead. Not as bad as the last phone, but it's still there.
Otherwise performance so far is good and I have no major complaints.

I wanted to stay with Samsung and once I learned how to handle the changes (from my old phone) this was a good choice. Larger phone and screen meant I needed a new car holder; change to a C jack meant I needed new charging cords, and it doesn't fit my laptop so had to buy adapters. Impossible to find a cord to transfer data from old phone to new (wireless transfer didn't work) so I had to rig up a cord and 2 apaters. Also some apps with updates this phone can handle have LOUSY alert sounds you cannot hear (Yahoo and Instagram) and they don't take other sounds you load (that's an app problem, not the phone) but it's very annoying. I'm happy with the space so I can load more apps, and the battery life is great. A lot more features than my old phone had.
