Great build, but hoping for a multi-purpose bag

This bag is great looking, great build, and really good at transporting camera gear. Unfortunately, I was looking for a multi-purpose bag that could double as an everyday work bag and camera transport during my work travels. A work backpack typically has a lot of pockets, pouches, and storage areas for your everyday items. This bag just does not have that functionality. The dividers do a great job at organizing large items, but space for your glasses, pens, keyboard, and mouse is just not there. It would be really great to see Peak Design develop an office-style insert where you can remove the dividers and have additional pockets, compartments, and areas for your office items to be properly stored
Now, my camera gear stays in the bag, and I have gone back to my old backpack for 90% usage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easily the best backpack I own

I picked the bag for my photography work but then it became my everyday work and now is my preferred diaper bag. I don’t leave the home without it and my wife jokes with me so much about that. Sometimes I carry our groceries with it and my partner jokes that I’m like Santa Claus since I fit so much in it that’s impressive to say the least.

Where to start?

Superlatives for my proverbial don’t leave home without it
Daily routines easily packed easily retrieved through to or side access!
But the best use for me is on travel with the one camera and one lens trip, your wallet safely stored, iPad , your MacBook, headphones, the smart clip for your keys.
As this is such a great product, I have since become a Peak design “junky” and have almost all of their products and they all deserve A+ ratings

Great backpack for travel and daily usage

I love my backpck. I used it both on commuting and travels. I always keep my mirrorless camera with me so I can use it more frequently. It ha lots of pockets also I can carry my 15” and 13” macbook pros together in it.

Everyday Backpack V2 for a NON camera user

Purchased this bad purely based on online feedback and aesthetics and I am happy to report I was not disappointed. I'm not a camera user but I love modular, customizable gear that doesn't lack style. This is my go-to work bag and has gone with me on multiple family trips. Can easily say this has earned its place as my everyday backpack

Great build quality but heavy

Absolutely fantastic build quality that Peak is known for, no question. Lots of great features. The only downside for all those extra features is weight. The thing is very heavy for a backpack. I guess all the magnets, padding and durable materials add up. I’ll use it for a while but might end up selling it for something lighter.

Best backpack I've ever owned, use for everything

I bought this as a travel camera bag but ended up using it for everything travel/commute/everyday related. I find the smaller size is big enough for most travel scenarios, taking a DSLR and a few lenses. Laptop pocket fits my Dell XPS 15 (although snugly), think it's better suited to 13" or 14" laptops though.
