Absolute peak design, with some minor flaws

Great quality, design and feature richness (typical for Peak Design, the name is in the product). I think this is the ideal bag for city trips with camera equipment. Side access really shines here since one does not always want to put down the backpack onto city grounds. I additionally got the 20L version to have some variety in terms of packing volume, depending on the length and type of trip.
I would not take this is a hiking/outdoor bag - although I have read a lot of reviews where people do this - as it is a rather "elegant" bag. The straps do not provide the necessary cushioning and safety that real hiking bags do. But who am I to judge, for hiking, I anyway have my Outdoor BPs 25L+45L. For some light grassland walks on holiday, the EBP should suffice.
Minus one star because the zippers of the side flaps tend to not run smoothly, which degrades the user experience, but maybe I just need to pack differently. The Flex Dividers also could be a little bit stiffer. If one has a heavier camera-lens-combo, like I do with my Canon R8 + 24-70mm 2.8L, they tend to really "sink in".
But all in all, a really solid backpack that I like to use since it looks good, protects expensive camera gear well and simply is a product that people have put thought into.
What can I say absolutely amazing bag perfect for your everyday needs, enough space for literally anything you would use on a day to day basis. Love all the small little details they put into the bag that you wouldn't even think you needed until they are there.
Was looking for a backpack to carry my laptop for work and all my camera accessories. I couldn't be happier. I really appreciate the ability to access my camera discreetly for public events.
My years-long search for the *almost* perfect, go-anywhere, do-anything travel bag seems to have ended with the X-Pac version of this backpack. After many days in the office, a cross-continent trip, and multiple hikes through rain and sun, this bag has proven itself worthy. It's durable enough to keep your gear well protected in most scenarios, stylish enough to wear around town, and comfortable enough for long travel days featuring all modes of transport. Don't be like me —just buy the bag—you won't regret it.
I've been looking at these for awhile and finally bought one. It's rad. I can carry three cameras in it plus all the other stuff I need. The dividers are rock solid and I can't imagine them every coming loose while in use. The design is super thoughtful, clearly made by people who actually use them for their intended purpose. The two-way zippers on the side access panels are genius. They make it easy to grab gear on the move.
I got this to replace my mission work shop which i loved BUT wanted to be able to carry my camera among my work stuff. This bag allows be to do both now. Its depth and configurability allows for this. The bag sits nicely on my back so it’s very comfortable to carry when loaded up. I kinda wish the laptop/document sleeve was not as snug as it. I love that its very water resistant but not too tactical looking I also love that it can sit up and not fall over
