I did just receive this pack but it is really amazing, every detail is so well thought out that while it may appear plain it is packed with features. I look forward to may adventures with this awesome pack!

I bought mine a few months back and just recently had a chance to take out for a spin.
Here's what I liked: - Overall quality is there (Zippers, Pockets, Latch ... etc.) - Handles, materials
What threw me off: - I had a "challenging time" adding two lens, a mirrorless body, some smaller accessories and snacks for a trip. Granted, maybe I'm not too familiar with how best to load this bag, but I thought it would have been easier to figure it out.
Here's what I didn't like AT ALL -- and is actually making me consider selling it: - The shoulder straps left much to be desired -- Within 5-10 min of wearing it, my shoulders were already aching and feeling pinched. VERY uncomfortable experience .... And trust me, the bag was not overloaded. I felt that discomfort even when it was empty (I WISH I tried it out well when it was brand new ... I would have returned for sure). - I don't see myself travelling or using this on a daily basis (at least as a backpack) -- Which is a HUGE shame.
Peak Design --- PLEASE invest in more padded should straps. I also own your Messenger bag and I find that bit more comfortable (but even that could use a bit more padding).
For the price .... It has a lot of nice materials, features and engineering but it fails on what it was designed for ... a comfortable daily use backpack

I bought this last week and was immediately impressed by the quality. I wish there were more pockets/dividers, but it suits my needs well.

well design and quality materials, hard to get use to all the options that this product has to offer, but that's the best part. once you get it there is no way back from this.

Nobody's perfect

I've had the v1 and v2 of this bag. It's the best bag in the world - I've tried a lot of bags over the years. It's great for travelling, fits easily in the carry on allowance for domestic and international flights. It has fantastic features. V2 increased the number of neat magnetic closures that keep the bag looking neat. The adjustable chest strap is easy to use. Things you don't use every day are hidden - e.g., straps and tie downs. It's expandable. Removable bits to cushion camera gear. Stowage for a laptop plus a tablet. One comment I have for the designers is to improve the shoulder hinge on v3. It's very comfortable, but after some time the hinge points can squeak. Amongst the 100 great features of this bag that's one gripe. The warranty is lifetime, and serious. I'm on the train now, looking at my brand new replacement bag that PD sent me. It's my second v2. If they make a v3 I'll buy it. I also have the Capture Clip and a wrist strap. Everything PD makes is worth your consideration

Looks nice but, not best for photographers

This is a good looking back pack for everyday bits and pieces but not good for photographers. For photographers look elsewhere - why: 1- the dividers are not versatile, despite having a clever 'shelf system'. 2- Only two sides of the bag have velcro, so impossible to add other manufacturers padded sub-dividers. 3- The side lids don't open wide they are restricted by the top handle construction. 4- The 'expanding top though a cover idea leaves the contents open to rail when at maximum and one down. I will keep the one I bought but not for carrying any photo stuff- I would have returned it but left it too late.
