Pretty good bag, but not perfect.

I got this bag several years ago, and use it ... every day of course. Mostly - it's holding out quite well, except for some abrasion where the bottom rubs against my lower back. The general layout is pretty convenient, especially for use as just a camera bag. My problem is when I want to carry a laptop, an A4 notebook and a camera. Putting the notebook in the main compartment doesn't enable me to put separators in there for the camera and lenses. If I don't carry the laptop, the folder can go into the laptop compartment. But not both. A bit of a bummer, which could probably be fixed in an updated version. How about it, PD guys?

Bought this backpack for Japan trip and it has good capacity but after an hour the straps can be uncomfortable. It has good form and a durable outer shell.

Commuting motorcycle student

I had doubts buying this bag. I own it for a few months now and am happy I do. I commute to my study on a motorcycle Monday to Friday. More than half an hour on the freeway. I had doubts about the bag being waterproof but it totally works fine riding through heavy rain. Even though I’m not a photographer, this is a very handy bag! I do advise to also buy the hip belt.

Everyday 30L Backpack

Had the initial crowd-funding everyday backpack 30L Charcoal. The first batch material was great except for the back mesh material that worn and torn after some use. Got PD to look into that matter and PD sent me a replacement version 2 but the shoulder strap torn barely attached to the rest of the bag, and the internal storage pockets reduced. The external bag designs can bet better and more unique (future proofing)

Great bag with one issue with the material.

I have been using this as an everyday backpack to office and its been a great fit for me. One thing that could have worked better for me is if had an option to add the sternum strap a little lower. Right now it sits high on the chest. Another major concern is the scuff marks it picks up after everyday use.

You’re Still the One

It’s been quite the journey, but look how far we've come, my camera-loving companion. We might have taken the long way, but we always knew we'd get there someday. They said, "I bet they'll never make it," but here we are, defying the odds.
This bag is the one I run to, the one that I belong to. With its versatile design and thoughtful features, it’s still the one I want for life. From its customizable dividers to its weatherproof construction, it's still the one that I love. It's the only one I dream of when it comes to carrying my gear.
And at the end of the day, when the sun sets and it's time to pack it all in, this bag is still the one I kiss goodnight. I'm so glad we made it, my trusty Peak Design Everyday Bag. Look how far we've come, my baby. Together, we're still going strong.

All good but

The band that crosses the chest to hold both shoulders strap from slipping is hard to hookup. Because the little strap goes to close to the clip.

Beautiful bag, not up to par with EDC’s in 2024

The bag is beautiful, functional, and gets the job done. In 2024, can I recommend this at the current price point? Probably not, unless you are already in the ecosystem. The bag needs a non-compromised approach to organization. The two big things I see in competitors are: 1) a dedicated AirTag pocket. I don’t want to compromise and use an existing pocket like I do currently, so I can reserve these for my gear. I’d also like to see this hidden. 2) a dedicated quick access pouch. This is a no-brainer; the ability to access essentials without having to expose all my gear would be great, ie AirPods / sunglasses. 3) straps. The straps are the biggest shortcoming of this bag and could use some love with some newer tech like Aer and Alpaka.
