Fun Mermaid Barbie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has been loving this Barbie Color Reveal Mermaid. Everything comes individually packaged, 5 in total (the doll and 4 accessories), in a plastic tube. The instructions are easy to follow. Open the doll first, submerge in warm water that you’ve filled the tube packaging with and watch the magic happen. Wait to open the accessory packages until after you have done the color reveal on the doll if you want her color to be a surprise. The accessories include a comb, necklace, headband, and a mermaid tail. According to the instructions, there is a feature where a strip of hair can color change based on the temperature of water. Ours didn’t really work though, but my daughter didn’t seem to mind. Overall, we had fun doing the color reveal and my daughter is having fun playing with her new Barbie.

Great surprise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter really liked the surprise of not knowing which color she would get until she put it in the water, she enjoyed putting it into the water and watching the color change after she put the Barbie in and getting the surprise of the color once she pulled the Barbie back out. She enjoyed dressing her, adding the tail and brushing the Barbie’s hair. She was a little disappointed in the hair not changing colors like it says but other then that she really enjoys playing with her new Barbie and making her “swim”

Beautiful bright mermaid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recieved this about 2 weeks ago. I gave it to my 5 year old little girl who was thrilled to get a Barbie mermaid. She immediately noticed that there were 6 surprises. Though 2 of them aren't physical and she was disappointed that there were only 3 accessories.
The color reveal part worked very well. She was very happy with the bright colors on the mermaid she got. There were mixed reactions to the accessories. The brush and larger necklace were big wins. But she was sad that this mermaid got a headband instead of a crown like the previous color change mermaid series. The hair color change was nice but it wasn't a big deal to her.
I've heard some rather imaginative mermaid play from her with her older sisters in tow. And she's very happy with it now that I explained that there weren't 6 accessories.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Color reveal mermaid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Another fun color reveal Barbie. They are always a win with my girls ranging ages 10-4. The paint is a little sticky, but it’s always fun to see the colored water! My only issue is that the fabric tail and lack of bending of the body makes it less desirable for me to let my daughter play with in the tub. She has a few Barbie mermaids that we can keep clean and avoid mold on. Comes with a few cute accessories. All in all a decent toy.

Beautiful Mermaid Barbie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mermaid comes in the tube you need to immerse her to reveal her pattern. If you do get your hands wet while handling the doll before you immerse her you will get some of her glitter on your hands. Once you immerse the doll the glitter comes off to reveal the pretty pattern on her tail, and her hair color streak. She will come with a comb, 2 accessories, and the frilly piece for her tail.

Color changes are fun but messy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mermaid changing colors makes for a fun way for the child to interact with. The one thing is that the changing color feature can get extremely messy, if it is not done in the package that the Barbie is sold in.

Fun Surprise!

It came with a wonderful assortment of accessories which my kids used with their other Barbie mermaids. My kids are already asking when we are going to buy more. They desperately want to complete the set.
