Light weight resilience! Bit smaller capacity than I surmised from Wired, but excellent for iPad, couple of books, and miscellany. Probably originally designed for camera buffs.
I purchased the 10L model in black a few weeks ago for daily use as a small bag for office gear and am very satisfied with the overall look and feel. I can easily carry a 13" MacBook Pro + iPad Pro in the sleeve compartment (won't engage magnet if added iPad), a tech pouch, water bottle and misc. gear in the 3 divided compartments. Only minor opportunity for improvement is ease of inserting and removing 13" MacBook. The outer material tends to get scufflike marks which in most cases can be "rubbed away" and in general do not look like the product is worn.
I wanted to be able to give this 5 stars but I just can't. I am a very amateur photographer and bought this for a recent trip to rainy Iceland. It worked for the multiple purposes I wanted it to: for packing my camera in my carry on and for taking on hikes or while walking around. I had to dock it stars for a couple reasons. First, it is not very easy or quick to convert from the sling to the waist pouch. Not a huge deal but I converted it less than I would have due to how long it took to switch. Second, it was not really waterproof. The sling got soaked and stayed wet for a long time. My camera was fine inside but I would not call this fabric waterproof at all. I'll probably need to get a rain cover for it for the next trip, which will just make taking the camera in and out harder.
two cameras fix perfectly, in my case I have Canon SX70 HS and Nikon z6II with 28-300 lens.. and have space for 2 batteries, sim cards and the rain cover. The material is very resistant, all the clasps fulfill their function perfectly, and the wonderful thing is that you can use it in 3 different ways. Very happy with the product.
Great product. No complaints and lots of praises for the design. Shipping could've been better. Took longer than expected and arrived in what can only be described as a small plastic trash bag. Okay, a heavy duty trash bag.
Good size (6L) for a couple of lenses, batteries, and such when traveling light. I kept finding myself in the position where I just needed a camera and one other lens. This gives me a safe place to put my extra lens, spare batteries and cards and have my hands free. I have the Backpack Zip for when I need the kitchen sink, but I can pull this out and repack to go light.
