I knew exactly what I needed and the PD 3L V2 Sling was a godsend.
Never-mind the reviews about the 3L being too small, front pocket is useless etc. It only means that they need a bigger version.
I needed a small, compact, easy stowage/reach, everyday bag for my everyday needs. Wallet, keys, phone, Fuji X-T3 with couple of prime lenses (23mm/35mm/50mm) mix and match to fit into the bag for my everyday needs.
Yes, it will be tight if ALL (yes, ALL the items above) are squeezed into the bag, if there ever is a need; however, the compactness of the 3L bag as an everyday carry is what makes it a Gem and perfect for my needs.
Thank you pd team!

Great bag but can be improved upon...

First of all, I'm a big fan of Peak Design products...I have over 10 PD products (lost count) and 5 are backpacks/bags.
With my latest purchasr the 10L Sling, I did notice a few things that can be approved. 1. The opening for the laptop/tablet can be made a little friendlier for devices pushing the size limit. This is obviously device dependent but the zipper kind of robs the bag 1/2 inch on each side. 2. The holes/pockets to hide the straps are the right size for the straps but doesn't poke through (i.e. doesn't open on the other side)...it's nitpicking but I feel that it could trap dirt over time. 3. This is a true issue in my opinion. The material is quite abrasive. I was wearing a brand new merino wool sweater with the Sling 10 on my back walking around taking pictures in downtown Toronto for a couple of hours and the bag probably rubbed off 1/3 of the sweater's thickness! Give it a full day and I would have a huge hole in the sweater! Perhaps adding a layer of less abrasive material to the back of this bag might help.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too Good To Ignore in a Crowded Bag Marketplace

Peak Design continues to improve their innovative bags in this V2 version. I do wish the 10L came in blue. I got mine in Ash.
Truly my only quibble is that my iPad Pro 2018 12.9" is a tight fit, and the curved top of the bag has to be wrestled with to get the iPad, encased in Apple's folio, in and out of the bag. Related to that, fitting my Fujifilm XPro-3 with 23mm f/2 into the bag with the iPad is also a bit of challenge.
If I'm actually shooting, I usually don't take my iPad in the bag. I just transport the iPad in it, with the camera, for travel. I leave the iPad in the hotel room safe.
I'll probably check out their shoulder bag soon.

Nearly Perfect

I've had a gray 3L for a year and a black 6L for about a month now. By and large, they are wonderful, I've really enjoyed them. The folding dividers are excellent, and so many little details have been thought through to make a wonderful bag. The 3L works great as a daily bag with an X100 sized camera, and the 6L fits a bigger setup like an X-Pro and a few lenses. I've got these 2, plus a 30L, capture clip, and 3 straps, so full kool-aid drinker here. That said, there's a few things I'd offer as constructive criticism for these excelllent bags:
1. The strap is the weakest link. On the 6L, it actually hurts after a while if you load it up. I'm probably going to order an after-market pad, which kinda feels like a fail. On the 3L, I find it slips very slowly as I walk around with it, so I have to readjust it after a while. With the gray color, it looks a little haggard now after a year of daily use. Still fully functional, just a little disappointing. 2. The gray color doesn't seem to hold up as well as the black. After a year, it's a bit yellowed and faded compared to a new one.
Despite these little niggles, I wouldn't want another bag, these are exactly what I want, both inside and out. (maybe except the strap)

Desgins I wish they were kept from V1

I got a V2 6L Sling as a replacement for my V1 5L Sling. Overall, I like V2 and it is a good replacement, but there are two design features of V2 that were changed from V1 but I wish they haven't.
First is already mentioned in several other reviews -- that the main compartment zipper is partially blocked when Capture Clip is attached on the side strap. V1 did not have this problem (see pic) because the zipper did not run all the way to the bottom on the side. And yet the opening was wide enough that I never wished the zipper would go all the way down.
Second is the position of the top handle. In V1 it was stitched on the top side of the bag, closer to the center and thus balanced. In V2, the handle is stitched at the top of the side panel (back side), thus feels off-balanced when held with items inside the bag.
Neither are deal-breaker IMO, but because these were not an issue in V1 I wish they were kept in V2 design.

Great EDC sling

Love the sling, I carry it with me everywhere I go. It's a great option for anyone looking to purchase a sling style bag you can take with you anywhere. Stylish, durable, it serves it's purpose as a sling bag that can carry your camera, phone, tablet, EDC, etc.
I do wish the zip pocket on the outside of the bag wasa bit more spacious. While it seems big, fitting items in and pulling them out is always a tight fit. Maybe adding some stretch to the pocket would fix it? Outer pocket aside though, the sling is perfect in my opinion.
If your on the fence about buying one...do it. Hit that proceed to checkout button. You won't regret it.
Phenomenal bag, easy to outgrow as a photographer.

This bag is fantastic! A true high quality item made with lots of thought put into it and very high attention to detail which amply justifies it’s pricing. As a beginner amateur photographer I started using it for my Sony a6400 and I had plenty of room for the camera body with a 35 prime lens attached, extra batteries and charger, with all of this feeling comfortable to reach and roomy. I decided to replace my 35 prime for a Tamron 17-70 zoom lens and by placing that attached to the camera there is no more room to place anything else than a couple of extra batteries, memory cards and small items like such. All of that to say a buyer should have a good long term idea of needs for this bag and avoid feeling regret of not having gone with a larger one like I’m realizing the hard way. I know eventually I will add a second lens to my gears and then a larger model would be the only sensical thing to do. Fantastic product!

Overall a nice bag

The item arrived soon enough after placing an order. The quality of finish is relatively good. The only letdown is the lack of opening of the two compartments. It requires two hands to separate the area around the zippers in order to fit a Fujifilm Xpro3 with a small lens attached (not a large camera). I only have one functioning hand at the moment due to an injury so the bag isn't being used. The front pouch are is extremely tight to access. Perhaps I'd have been better off buying an easy to use bag, one with a flip top lid. Such is online purchasing nowadays I guess.
