Got my series of products from peak when the first started out at kickstarter. Started off as camera accessories and then into bags. Boy are their stuff built like a tank. Not to mention the great product support it’s top of this world!
My husband and I picked up both a 3L and a 6L everyday sling recently planning to use them as camera go bags for hiking trips. These bags look really good and have nice thoughtfully laid out storage that makes me love to use them. The 6L comfortably holds about two lenses and a small to medium camera body. The 3L turned out to be a bit smaller than we found to be useful for a full kit, but works well if you want to carry a few lenses and other accessories and plan to keep your camera external to the bag.
I bought the 10L v2 and it’s so convenient. Not only can it carry my small mirror less camera and 3 lenses but it can also carry pretty much all my everyday carry as well such as my wallet, cellphone, keys, etc. I could also put my capture clip on the side of the bag and inside fit an extra shirt on hot summer days. Or use the bottom straps to hold my jacket on cold days.
This bag is so well thought out. The strap is very comfortable and the bag is well balanced even when the tripod is attached. The materials are extremely durable and good quality. I hope PD does not put themselves out of business because this one could last me the rest of my life. Excited to see what they think of next!
I bought this bag as a replacement for my v1 version that had a zipper fail. I am pleased to see that the zippers appear to have been upgraded on this bag. Overall this is an excellent bag but I do wish it was a bit wider front to back. The depth is perfect and I can fit my Fuji 50-140 f2.8 in this bag perfectly. I have the middle sized version. I also sometimes use this bag to carry my dji mini 2 and all the required accessories for it.
However I wish the strap was thicker (similar to the slide strap) in order to attach the capture clip to it….On that subject, when you attach the capture clip to the designated spot on the bag, it makes the bag waaay off balance and pulls the camera to the lowest point which makes it impossible to reach.
Overall it’s a pretty good bag but I’d move the designated spot for the capture clip to some place more logical.
