Been using the 6L for 2 years now and loving it! I'm a hobbyist, carry my Sony a6600 with sigma 56mm and Tamron 17-70mm, along with some snacks and a small water bottle almost every weekend. I have the Capture installed on the side and that allows me to pack even more inside. That said, it gets heavy quick without you realizing how much stuffs you've packed in this little thing.
It's been thru light rain and was able to protect my gears well. Still looking good to this day. Speaking of look, I have the midnight version. The leather accent color has faded a bit.
It could have been perfect if it had a back pocket - currently it's been used to hide the strap thru tiny openings on either side, but the inside is definitely deep and padded enough to be a usable pocket, I think it's a missed opportunity there.
This product has been awesome for the daily sling with capacity to fit my ipad pro 11" if needed. love the way peak design incorporates great features.
I bought this bag for my little neighborhood walks. I use it with my small mirrorless Fuji camera. There isn't a ton of space, but it sure is nice to use, as it feels as if I'm carrying nothing! One has to be aware that you really can't fit a lot in, but I have a camera with a macro lens, my ID, my phone (iPhoneX), and one extra very small lens. That's enough for a neighborhood walk. Should I want to carry more I think I'd purchase the 6L ... and, in fact, that's in my future!
I picked up the 3L sling to be my everyday carry for my Sony A7C and 40mm f2.5 which holds everything you need for a light day of shooting. My current use case is for birthday or simple event photography my A7c and 40mm is a great all-purpose setup. The 3L can carry that along with batteries, SD cards, and diffusion filters with no problems. If you’re looking for a small, inconspicuous bag that doesn’t scream “expensive camera gear inside” and you shoot mirrorless with a short lens. Stop looking and get this sling bag!!
