Great all around bag. Perfect for use when you don't need a full size backpack. Love the idea of using it as a fanny pack, but the 6L is too big to wear around the waist if you're 5 feet tall
I bought this a month ago to use as an everyday carry with my camera (Fujifilm XT3 + Battery Grip + 16-55mm f2.8). The bag doesn’t fit my camera when my battery pack is attached. It barely zips tight, and I’m of comfortable pulling it in and out.
My other complaint is the back of the bag, the side that touches my body, doesn’t have a zippered pocket. I wish there was a pocket there to put my wallet.
Got it with the main purpose of EDC, with or without a camera. Using the 3l version, fits a MILC or DSLR with primes easily, with additional space for wallet, cards, keys. Depending on your camera, in some cases the opening might be slightly tight for getting the camera quick in/out, especially when having a Peak Design Clip attached to the bag, as this gets in the way of the zippers. Quality is as usual at Peak Design really high. Have even used it on short biking trips. Highly recommended.
I bought the 3L bag to fit my Nikon Z6ii with Kit Lens. With the divider still installed, the camera assembled with lens hood back just barely fits (lens down) in this bag. I can fit a spare battery and a few other small items in the internal organizer pocket. However, I’m disappointed that my iPhone with case does not fit easily in the front pocket (even in the product video, she has to somewhat jerk the phone from the bag). A slightly longer zipper would be helpful. I would also like to see a second zipper pocket on the back side of this bag that could potentially fit a phone/ notepad/ keys/ etc.
Overall this is a great quality bag. I think the 3L size is close to perfect but making the bag have a slightly outward angled top around the zipper would offer just enough room to make the camera body (with lens attached) fit better, and also allow for a longer front zipper so a phone with case will fit easily.
I bought both the 3L and 6L bags. The 3L is perfect as a hip bag and the 6L is great to carry everyday essentials plus my Nikon Z mirrorless w/ attached lens.
Love the 6L slings. I have one for my a6500 and 2 lenses for everyday carry, and my girlfriend has one as her EDC. There is only one thing I would say about it.... WHY IS THERE IS NO BONE COLOR FOR THE 6L SLING
1. The small one is too small for a professional mirrorless with attached 24-70 zoom lens. You can make it fit but it is too tight and you can scratch your gear on the zippers every time you take out your camera or put it away in the bag. I ended up getting the medium one and while I do love it, it is actually a bit too big for my needs. It is bulkier than I wanted.
2. I do not like the fabric/coating. It is not smooth and can damage clothes (pilling on wool sweaters).
