Well thought, versatile everyday sling bag. easy to carry, not too heavy, well laid out if it were waterproof (like a Bellingham) it would be The perfect bag.
I recently bought a A7C and needed a way to safe store the camera. The 3L is the perfect size for me. Been traveling across Asian and have been enjoying this sling. Easy to adjust strap length, no loose straps. Love peak design products!
This is truly the best camera bag I've ever owned. It's so versatile. Glad I went with the 5L. Reminds me of Goldilocks....3L is too small & 10L is too big but this one is just right!
I just purchased my first DSLR and I am new to photography. I wanted a small-medium sized sturdy bag and this one fits the bill. The 6L fits a Canon SL3 body and 18-55mm lens PLUS room to spare for another lens. Plenty of pocket space for extra batteries/SD cards, charger, and any other small accessories. The sling strap is comfortable.
I've been using the 6L as my every day bag for about 3 weeks now. The construction feels solid. Registering for the warrantee was difficult as the tag is part way in the small front pocket - I had to shove my phone in to take a photo. I like how easy it is to fold down the origami dividers when I want to bring a camera along and they hold up well. So far my only issue is the strap release "lock" isn't very secure and the strap can pull out and readjust even if it's in the closed position.
I've used this bag for almost a month, and I can definitely say this bag is a must for everyone who loves cameras. First, it's so comfortable to use. I can put all my gear into the bag and take out them quickly when I need. Second, I feel safe because this bag protects my camera from almost anything, like rain, collision, and dust because the zipper closes perfectly. And finally, the design is tremendously cool, so I feel happy every time I use this bag.
Peak Design charges high prices for their products, arguing that they offer the highest quality and well thought-out features.
The overall quality impression is quite good, but the strap connections made of plastic reduce my quality impression. I would have liked to have the same material there, as in the carabiner (probably aluminum).
Another point has struck me negatively. The feature is advertised that the capture clip can be attached to the bag. Unfortunately, when you do that, you prevent the zipper from running freely. This could have been better considered in the design and development.
Furthermore, I noticed that the quick release does not have a blocking effect in any position. Gravity and the pull prevents slippage. Therefore, the bag must be lifted and the pull relieved to change the strap length (you can also see on the videos).
In sum, it can not keep the high advertising promises for me.
originally had the 5L v1 for years and loved it until the zipper broke so I got the v2, I legit want to get one of each color in both the v1 and v2 they are such good everyday bags!
