Best camera bag you can get. Period. It’s amazingly portable and have just the right amount of space and pockets that you may need for small mirrorless apsc camera with even 2 extra primes and small telephoto. Smart dividers, quick adjustable strap, weatherproof….i could keep going with praises. Also this lifetime warranty is exceptional. I had an zipper issue with the V1 version and without any need to explain much a V2 was on the way as an exchange. That’s a customer service! Thank you Peak design!
This bag is awesome for my camera and two lenses! There is a sense of comfort carrying around this bag compared to others I’ve used in the past knowing my camera is secure. Comfortable to wear over the shoulder or around the waist.
I bought the smallest size 3 years ago. It fits my canon r with 24- 105 lens with a cap and small accessories(glasses, memory cards etc). I love this, I have it with me in all my travels and everywhere I want to take my camera. It has endured multiple hikes, bike rides, hours of walks, rain, sun etc and it's still great quality. While travelling and not taking my camera I might still use this as a day pack and take essentials on it. The only thing I would change about it is the front pocket, I wish the opening was a bit bigger its hard to sometimes put your phone in there, but aside from that really happy with this bag.
I picked up the 3L Everyday Sling mainly for travel, but I think it will become a permanent item in my edc. Features that the bag have are very well thought out and with purpose, the storage capacity is deceptively large for the small size of the bag. I use it to carry my A7R II, and a lens or two, extra battery, keys, and a Cuff.
I started using this bag a few days ago as a tefillin bag (tefillin are Jewish Prayer boxes that we tie to our arms and heads every day for morning prayers). With the dividers you can make perfect cells to hold each of the four boxes. The bag is very firm and protective, which I like. It's also the perfect height and firmness to use as a stand for a prayer book (both to rest a book on top as well as to lean against the bag with the help of the straps as in the picture). The zippers are very durable and pleasant to use, and I love the use of magnets for the inside pocket.
I'm not a huge fan of the front pocket. It is too stiff and hard to get a hand in and put things in. It would be nicer if it was softer and stretchier in order to properly use all the space in it. In the inside zipper pocket, I didn't find much use for the SD card holders being that they are very small. The biggest downside of this bag is the price, but you can't take 'peak' out of 'Peak Design'. Overall, I really love this bag and it elevates my prayer experience. If there are any Jews reading this, I hope this review was helpful. It is also a great bag for mivtzoyim!
I have the 3L everyday sling, but I had trouble fitting anything else (such as phone) when I had a bigger than prime lens on my Sony a7iii. I am 5 feet, and the bag doesn’t overwhelm my body. I can fit my phone, capture, and a few more little items. I love the straps on the bottom for my raincoat, and hopefully a PD travel tripod one day.My phone case has a zip wallet attached, so it takes more room than the usual phone.
I now own both the 6L and 10L bags (both Ash) and they have quickly become my go to bags to carry anything. I've owned the 6L for three years now and aside from a slight yellowing and a small coffee stain on the bottom the bag has held up amazingly. There has been no signs of stretching or wear from the zippers even after packing the bag to its brim many times. I honestly think it is a bargain for how long it will last you. The slight yellowing is shown beside my brand new 10L, and over three years of consistent abuse (grass, dirt, snow, sand) it is an exception for the protection it gives me.
