Have used this bag for the past month and have found it a nice compact size to carry my camera on every day trips around town. Previously I had just packed my camera over my shoulder but found I was banging it around. This bag is very well constructed although a bit tight for getting my camera out and back in. Weather has no effect on it and it's comfortable to wear. Just big enough for the essentials.
Peak Design is one of my favorite brands, I love their products, materials, philosophy and values. Their warranty is for real, I have had products replaced just because they were not perfect. I love my 5L sling bag, but it lacked some important things, like the dual zippers, the possibility of being compressed to fit into another bag, and the external straps to carry a tripod. I love all this enhancements, and the midnight blue color is gorgeous. The only aspect I don't like so much is how the new sling bag grew downwards, and the straps are so on top of the body, so it never stays too close to the body without rocking, with the previous version, which have the straps lower, you can even run and the bag stays flat to the body. Now it balances so much. Apart from this, the new version is awesome.
A very well thought sling bag design. Small little design considerations that sets it apart from other competitors. PD bags are like the Lexus of bags. Lexus' philosophy of Kaizen is very apparent in their travel gears design language.
2 cents: Close to perfect. Except: Wish there were quick slip straps on BOTH sides of the strap. Not just one side. And that side and made with right-side of the body hanging in mind. I wish I could go from VERY tight to VERY loose instead of having to calibrate my strap somewhere in between. Ironically, A normal strap does this just fine. (You have to deal with the excess strap, but normally you can tuck those anyway). And the separators are bulky. I wish they were less padded in exchange for taking up less of my bag. I've opted to only cary one separator. And even then, I will take it out instead of letting it lay flat in the bag when not in use because it takes up probably 2% of my bag's precious space. Everything else is perfect so far.
very happy with the Everyday 3L sling! Sturdy straps for carrying around a full size tripod beneath it, easily manageable and customized organization inside for a mirrorless + 2 lenses, but above all, it's light and comfortable to wear.
The one thing to nitpick here is the front compartment zipper; I wish it was a little easier to access and operate. It seems to fold in under some sort of textile shelf that's placed above the pocket; no doubt for weather sealing, which is great, but does make it a bit annoying to use.
Bag is of quality make. However the anti theft zip feature doesn't seem to work as well as that of the 10L from what I can see. Overall still a great product by peak design!
