Bought this unit along with a blower to share a battery. Was very use to a straight shafted gas trimmer. This trimmer has good features like the line feed but may need thicker line.
Seems to have enough power but the physical make up of the unit will take a while to get use to. I’m sure I will figure it out. Been wanting to get away from finicky gas products for awhile now!

Wonderful tool

Since I have had numerous surgeries on my wrist I didn't know what to expect on the weed eater. To my surprise it is wonderful to use and it doesn't hurt my wrist for days after I have used it. I really enjoy using this weed eater. I use it to keep the edge of the lawn nice and have used it on some taller weeds. It take longer on them but if you keep the weeds trimmed, this does the trick.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was needing something great on price and features both and I found this, it’s an awesome product that keeps my yard looking great in the details, alongside my other Worx products like the Landroid, I wouldn’t have any other trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I was really skeptical about buying another battery operated weed trimmer. I had terrible luck with one I bought a few years ago from the big box store. It was a disaster from the get go. When I received my Worx trimmer I went right to business. It is a dream. It did an awesome job that is comparable to my husband's big bulky gas trimmer which is far to cumbersome for me to use not to mention a nightmare to start. I was able to trim almost 1 acre of our nearly 2 acre property of some very complicated weed mass. I worked until the battery needed recharging which was a perfect way for me to take a break. Within a 20 minute time period the battery was recharged and ready to hit more of the targeted areas. I love the product so much, I ordered another tool from the Worx line!

Disappointing start

While a great idea and design, my first spool of line was stuck together and impossible to use. Also, the command feed button only stops the trimmer, and there are no specific instructions on use. Everything points to just press the button, but I'm at a loss as to how or whether it is working.

The spool line is made of a biodegradable material so that it easily breaks down without impacting the environment. This makes the spools of line very delicate and in extreme weather situations, the line will begin to melt and fuse together. An email will be sent to you in regards to this as well. Excellent quality and a wonderful product. It's light weight, easy to hold and cuts great. Have multiple worx tools and I love them all. Only took a few minutes to assemble.
