"Command Feed"

I am asking for guidance...have trimmer all set up...attempted to "command feed" to gain more line, and machine shuts off. No line projects out. Am I doing something wrong?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello there! Thank you for sharing your honest review. In order to use your automatic line feed system, you must first remove your battery, then manually feed the line about 2 inches out at the bottom. Feeding the line out this small bit is to ensure you can tell if the line has fed out or not. Once this is done, place the battery back on the tool and, while running the trimmer normally, click on the line feed button several times WITHOUT letting go of the trigger. This will cause your trimmer to turn on and off repeatedly, but once you click the button several times, you will be able to notice at the bottom that your line has fed out normally. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a woman and could not start a gas powered weed eater. I watched your info-Commercial and thought this is the tool for me. I have used it once since I got it and it was easy to use, light and adjustable. Plus I got the whole yard done on one battery charge. Yippee!

Easy To Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the trimmer a little over a month and used it about 4 times now. The battery life far exceeded my expectations. Operating the trimmer is relatively easy. The only complaint I have are the string spools and how difficult they can be to continue to use if the string breaks off completely. If that happens your better off just getting a new spool because the string will continue to break no matter how many times you “fix it” and reposition the string in the trimmer head. I would also like to see different spool options with stronger or thicker strings. Maybe even detachable head devices, just a suggestion .

This is my second one... first one I bought over 10 years ago,,, I just feel second one doesn’t do as good a job as the first one... yes unlimited string supply, but I use one roll every time I cut the lawn,,

WG170.3 3 in 1 Grass Trimmer...

I bought this about a month ago in May 2020. It did a good job on the high grass. Telescopic feature difficult, but does extend 15 inches. I think the problem is it catches on the 3 holes in the metal telescopic rod. We didn't see these holes on the You Tube videos showing how to extend the trimmer. I recommend ear protection and eye, face protection. I haven't used the edging feature yet. The mower mode didn't work well for the high grass, but swinging the trimmer back and forth off the ground to cut the high grass did. I had to wait until the area was dry before I could whack the high grass.
