I bought this a couple of months ago, the battery only lasts about 20 minutes and I also ordered the deal with 2 batteries, but only received 1, this thing is a piece of junk, I won't buy any other products from them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WORX batteries run different amounts of time depending on the tool, but for the most part, the 2.0 Ah batteries average about 20 minutes of run-time. I love my new toy! It’s amazing!!!

I saw the commercial on TV for this string trimmer and was happy to see that it could accommodate tall people. I’m a tall woman at 5’11-1/2” and my son is 6’3. It’s comfortable to use and makes edging and trimming effortless. All the adjustments are simple to make - the handle, telescoping shaft, and to turn it into an edger from a trimmer and vice versa. I wasn’t sure if I would need the mini mower feature but it has come in very handy and I’m very happy with it. My neighbor saw me using my “toy” so he came over and I practically did a commercial when I demonstrated how easy it was to use. I thought with the spool holding only 10 feet of line that it would run out quickly. I was happily surprised to find that after I had finished I barely used up any line at all. Changing spools and winding line on the spool is soo easy. With my other trimmer it felt like I spent hours winding and pulling and holding the line taut so that it wouldn’t unwind and I would have to start all over. Thanks WORX for listening to your customers and designing a product that is amazing!!!

Even though I have not had it for very long it has been used to edge a large flower bed as well as trimming. The wheels make it very easy to edge in a straight line without cutting too deep into the surrounding soil.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Many problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in a combo with the blower less than two months ago. The trimmer is now in the garbage. The string is weak and the system is poorly design, the tool has an extra large gard that gets in the way when trimming in thight spaces, if you remove the gard to be able to get in small spaces, then the string keeps growing (without pushing the button to release it) and becomes too large. It just a bad bad tool. NOT recommended.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your expereicne and review! The guard is on the tool for safety purposes to protect the user and also contains a blade to cut the line.
