I love Worx tools. They are very durable, and stand up to whatever you give them. They are not like some of the flimsy products that I have purchased in the past. Keep up the good work!

GREAT Design, but NO POWER

WORX took so much time to develop OUTSTANDING versatility in this tool....which makes it astonishing at the COMPLETE LACK OF POWER that was built into the design. The versatility to be able to perform both detailed edging and trimming with this machine is REALLY well thought out, but the complete LACK OF POWER in the 20V battery makes this like trying to cut a great steak using a PLASTIC KNIFE & SPOON. It's almost laughable.
Come on, WORX. You're better than this. This probably also explains why the 40v version is CONSTANTLY out of stock. Relying on 20v batteries for all of your cordless equipment needs to go! These tools are far too well designed to be strapped power that's more fit for a kids toy than a lawn tool.
I love the design so much, that I'm returning the 20v version for the 56v version (since the 40v version is NEVER in stock). However, the 56v battery isn't compatible with your other cordless tools, so that makes it singular-use with only the trimmer....and completely defeats the purpose of your "SAME BATTERY, EXPANDABLE POWER" campaign.
In a nut shell, here are my recommendations: 1. CUSTOMERS: Do NOT but the 20v version....it's a complete tease of function WITHOUT power. Wait for the 40v version to be in stock....if your lawn doesn't become completely overgrown by then, or bite the bullet and get the 56v version even though you won't be able to use that battery in any other WORX cordless tools. 2. WORX: PLEASE stop relying on 20v batteries for your cordless tools. It's a joke and makes it look like you don't make serious tools. Your designs are WAY too good to be wasted on tools that can't actually do the job that their meant to do. 3. WORX: If you're going to offer cordless tools with 40v of power, ACTUALLY DO IT WITH 40v BATTERIES instead of 2 x 20v....and try to have them in stock at least every once in a while. Come on!

Thank you for sharing your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. This information will be passed up to the appropriate department. WORX tools is making the move to have every tool operated by 20V batteries so that we can have one universal and interchangeable battery for all WORX tools, and therefore all other voltages have been discontinued so we can focus solely on the 20V line. This plan is for the convenience of our customers as they will not need to purchase different batteries for different tools, and will also be able to purchase "tool-only" models at a cheaper price. Please check your email as I have contacted you offline to further assist you with this matter!
Thank you for choosing WORX!

Worx edger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] IF IT"S NOT BROKE DON"T FIX IT!!!!! I've been a loyal WORX customer for years. I was even a product tester in the past. This summer I purchased my 4th WORX edger. Have loved loved loved this product for years. I am a 61 year old female and I have homes and keep up about 20 graves at the cemetery so it's gets a beating. I cannot tell you how much this product made my life so much easier when it first came out. I even help elderly folks at the cemetery when I see them on their knees struggling to clean up the graves of their loved ones. But why why why does a company change a great product? The new design is a nightmare. The wheel does not stay on. The pivot does not work properly. All these stupid new "locks". I have not yet been able to use the edger which is the most important feature for me. PLEASE PLEASE send me one of your older models if you have any. I will gladly give you this one back. Oh another thing on this new design......we're back to only one battery which is big and heavy like the original model. What happened to the 2 smaller batteries that were provided??? And tell me this battery provides long and more power because it does not. I guess after 15 years I feel I know this product pretty well. DO NOT touch the blower product as it's just fine the way it is.

Great product but flawed

I purchased a the product over a year ago, with my first product the unit cracked at the handle, rendering the unit useless. Contacted support last summer and they replaced the unit. The replacement unit was used last fall and this spring and has also cracked at the handle and been rendered useless. This product does not have durability and will break. I do not recommend wasting money on something that is obvious why they only have a year warranty as it only lasts a year.

This trimmer was a replacement for a previous Worx trimmer purchase (old one lasted years). Lightweight, but sturdy. Trims evenly. Love the wheel feature for precision edging.

Happy wife, happy life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have the decorative concrete edging between the yard and black top parking area in front of our home. My wife did not like the way my old horizontal trimmer would edge the grass so she used to do it with her scissors. Scooting along the ground and cutting a hundred feet of grass with scissors would take forever. With the Worx GT I just turn the head to the edging position and run it with the wheels on the concrete curb and it is done in <10 minutes. With the new Worx blower I just purchased I can have the drive and parking area cut, cleaned, and be done in no time.
