Low Duty

I had been reviewing Worx GT since the arrival on the market. Looked impressive from an info commercial. It appeared to have some substantial duty. However, when I received the unit you can tell it did not have any significant quality. My circumstances on my property, which is a typical neighborhood, the grass and edging and trimming basically ate this tool alive. I ordered it with the 4 amhp battery in anticipation but my expectations where not met.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Light weight

I bought one of these a few years ago. If it's just grass you are trying to trim then I would recommend it. If you have a smaller yard then I also recommend it. If you have actual weeds or live on lake save your money and buy a gas one. When you start trimming your yard the power on these is so week. So my dad came up with his gas one and only took half the time and the power was way better. I threw it away and bought a gas one, yes the gas one is a little heavier but if you want power it's the way to go. I had some tall weeds in my yard and it took the trimmer 15 slices to cut one. The gas one one swipe and I had the whole row cut. The battery fades over time and you will need to replace it. It worked well for my aunt because she didn't have the strength for the gas one. Bottom line the force is a lot weaker, the battery doesn't last long. If you are looking for something lightweight and easy yard then this is the tool for you.

Too short

Thought this would be the same length as the 40v trimmer (1 -40v battery). Much shorter and with sacrum issues, kills me to bend over so much. On plus side it is lighter.

GT REVOLUTION - Not worth the hype

I purchased this about a month ago. Good idea, bad design. Used once, then went back to my Dewalt trimmer. The extension handle won't stay locked, neither will the head of the trimmer in the "mini mower" position, which is a joke. Unless your on a flat piece of ground. It does a terrible job. Uneven cut, gets stuck, then scalps the grass.. I bought this specifically to try to mow around my fence line. To have more control around the fence posts and hard to reach places where my mower can't go and get a more even cut that just a trimmer. Sadly it doesn't work at all. Got frustrated with the wheels getting stuck and it being unbalanced and the handle sliding down. I'm 6ft tall and really needed it at full extension. And having to take off the wheels from the mow position to move to the edger position is a pain. It should come with two sets so you don't have to change them over. On the plus side it is very light weight and the line feed button is great. Features are great, if they would work as advertised.

To ensure the handle stays in the desired position, please twist the orange mechanism in the middle of the shaft to lock it into place.
