[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the first generation battery string trimmer. It worked great for about 10 years (still working), then the batteries were discontinued so we decided to purchase the newer version when the batteries wouldn't hold a charge for more than 10 minutes or so.We love the new one, more powerful & lighter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Since using it I am even MORE amazed at what a fantastic job this trimmer does! It is lightweight, has many accessories, easily switches for different jobs, long lasting battery, easy line feed... I can't say enough about how great this trimmer is!
I would recommend this to a friend!
