Great but...

I'd like to preface that I am pretty picky when it comes to comfort and functionality. I was looking for something that would hold my everyday carries like compact camera, keys, extra chargers, batteries. field notes/pens, etc.
It does the job. Construction is exceptional. The little pockets inside are awesome.
However, I felt a little dissatisfied as soon as I started packing things in... The main reason is because of the shape of the pouch at the bottom. It's caved in from all sides and seamed that way so it doesn't fit things in as nicely as it would if it was just flat bottom. Because of this reason, I find myself reaching out to a different bag for my EDC. I have lots of keys, Ricoh GR, Sony ZV1 to generally pack in and it just doesn't fit well. The size isn't the issue, but the shape for me. I still like it enough to keep it but it's definitely not my EDC as I expected it to be. I'd still recommend this product but would be clear about the shape of the pouch to consider.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Solid bag for travel, just a few quibbles.

I bought this bag as a personal bag for travel. Overall it is a great bag that is well made. I wish that it was RFID blocking or at least had an RFID pocket. The SD card pockets could be a little lower in the inside pocket to allow them to hold other things (they're jjust too close to the zipper). One other minor quibble is that one of the strap clips seems to slide off a bit easier than I expect (and easier than my other PD products.) Overall a nice bag that I will use for travel.
the strap keep popping off. it would been great is it use those disk like the camera strap. the Verco on the bag side need to be wide if the flap is close at a angle the verco stop working.
Comparing the new Field Pouch V2 with the old V!. I miss all the pockets on the inside of the pouch. With fewer pockets I find it harder to sort smaller things like I did in V1. I do like the outside material, but I don't like the changes to the inside at all.
Field Pouch V2: Upgrade is not that revolutionary.

I am going to rate it 3 stars, as i was going to buy the first version, what stopped was the size, this one is V2 but the upgrade is so limited, the outside can be designed with some webbings to attach something more or pen slots or whatever, the inside, the material for the SD card or battery slots are just common wide garter that in time will the first to go as the rubber will become weak in the future. This can be a forever pouch if the inside is designed better. The main material for the pouch is always fantastic, the sling is good. Your ultimate thinking is always to include that catch mechanism for an external device dangle, this is strong, but the inside is rather more important to me... I tried several pouches, a lot are designed and built with the same material used outside for its longevity.
Great little bag to throw a lens and shoot essentials, also walk around bag for point and shoot with daily essentials. Don’t let your wife harass you for calling it a purse
