Sound Improvements from V1!

I appreciate the changes PD made to V1. It makes this Pouch way better suitied for outdoor carry. especially with the two capture points on the side of the bag. The Field Pouch V1 makes for better packing with its internal pockets that are better than V2.
I strongly recommend you use the PD leash or Slide lite to carry this pouch, especially if your gonna be carrying attaching a camera to the side. The included straps suck.

It's a great small bag. E.g keep a Sony rx and a few small accessories. Good inside pockets layout.

Great little bag

I bought this hoping that I’d be able to fit my Fuji X-T2 & lens inside, for a super small daily carry kit. I wasn’t sure if it would fit, and it didn’t, but I’m now happily using it as a bag for all my random bits and pieces I got bored of swapping between bags.

Great product, clearly designed by photographers

I picked one of these up a month ago. I have since travelled to Asia on a photography tour. This allowed me to carry a Fuji mirrorless along with a spare lens, plus spare battery and a couple of cables. It give me quick access to my gear, and a secure way to carry it. Especially helpful when travelling by plane and public transport, and for discreetly carrying gear when exploring unfamiliar streets. It’s just the right size, comfortable and very quick to adjust and open. I used it sling style, sometimes front or back, but will be trying it on the belt too. I’ve tried 3 other products like this over the years from other brands and this is superior in so many ways. Looks great too!

Love it but not the velcro

I've used this for several months now as my EDC bag. Overall, I'm pleased with it. I just have one critique and one wish: Critique: I don't like the velcro. The velcro on the flap catches on my sleeves/clothing. It would be nice if the flap closed magnetically instead. Wish: I wish the pouch was slightly larger in all dimensions, but it's not a dealbreaker.

Problem: the connection with the shoulder strap

I bought this item 3 years ago. I use it for my Fujifilm X100VI. It is a great Pouch. I use it a lot! There is only 1 thing that does not work well: the leash is attached to the pouch with two clips. When you clip the included shoulder strap to the pouch it will easy loose the connection because the 2 clips are to wide. You have to control the connection every time you use the pouch. I have replaced the shoulder strap for an older camera strap. I think it's a shame that it works like this, because I much more liked the included shoulder strap. I hope the new pouches will have a better construction.

Poor Execution

I bought this pouch to carry a lens. It's a great size and concept, but the Velcro strips don't hold the top flap securely. I stopped using it when a lens rolled out of the pouch while I was standing in an awkward way. The binding is two very small Velcro contacts, and they're not nearly sufficient. I recently spent a few weeks on crutches and tried using the pouch as an accessory bag for keys, phone, wallet. It's perfect, EXCEPT the Velcro won't hold and everything falls out. Useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Field Pouch V1 was just mint. Especially the front 'centered' connector for your capture clip. i have an Olympus Pen-F which fitted nicely on the center of that version 1 bag. Version 2 of the bag is everything everyone says positive around styling, fit, capability, how much it holds. just awesome. What is not good and I'd say PD has mucked it up is that the clip holders on the side are too close to the flap edges. When you add a capture clip then slide my camera in it takes a centimeter or more of the side of the flap up from the velcro strip. it makes the flap less secure. its ruins the nice smooth look, and it most importantly makes sliding the camera off and on smoothly a two-handed chore. For this reason alone its not a good fit for a camera & clip unless you have enough gear in it to pull the flap further up the bag. not ideal at all.
