Great bag, albeit not perfect
on October 24, 2020

I wanted a nice light backpack that I could commute with in the winter (bus & metro). Big enough to put my daily stuff, but not too big. The EveryDay TotePack was the perfect size. It takes all my daily gear and some, it is very functional, has ton of access and is stylish to boot. I have no issue with the functionality of the bag.
My only concern is the weatherproofing. The material is very good, very resistant. But the zipper are not that resistant. The top zipper resists better because of the tote design, but water can leak through the side zippers in a heavy rain. I have to say, it takes a heavy rain for some time to go through (you'll be fine in a light rain or 5min in a big one), but it is something to be aware of.
To compensate, I bought a North Face Pack Rain Cover, the XS size fits this bag perfectly. I feel that at this price, Peak Design should include a rain cover, it'd make it a perfect combo.
But otherwise, very satisfied with the bag itself. Very comfortable, I love the strap attachment design, it's the perfect urban bag.

Love the bone color!!

I love peak design bags and if you've ever owned one you'll know why. This bag with this color is perfect for my next trip to the Baltic. The bag has every detail taken care of and is equally stylish. In the summer I like having a light-colored bag to reflect the heat. Be sure to watch the peak design video to see all the great features of whatever bag you choose bc not all of them are obvious. As if buying the bag wasn't exciting enough the fact that you know your purchase helps the planet and shows other businesses that you can be a responsible manufacturer is the cherry on top!
Peak please make more products in this color!

Love the functionality of this bag, but the material on the black bag didn’t look professional enough to take into work. I’m begrudgingly returning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks Great but a Bit Impractical

I've been using this bag since 2019, and mostly use it for traveling. I have to say it's a great looking bag and it doesn't look giant on me, even though I'm 5'3". But, I'd have to rate it 3.5 stars and here's why:
1. The handle at the top is not long enough. It's fine for quickly picking it up before slinging it over your shoulder, but it's too short to wear it around your elbow. It defeats the point of it being a "tote" pack.
2. It feels very tight when you open the sides. I'm not carrying much gear... usually my a6400, 2 small lenses, and a gorillapod. But as soon as I add a Macbook, it becomes hard to open the bag and hard to add extra things to the front pocket.
3. There is a lip at the bottom. I assume this is to stop things from accidentally sliding out. But because of this, it's very difficult to put things in and out of the bottom section.
4. There are no shoulder or waste straps to lighten the load, so the pack feels heavy and uncomfortable after a few hours walking around (even with very little in it).
Overall, I love the look of the backpack, but it just doesn't feel that practical to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Form over Function
on December 31, 2019

Big enough to hold two mirrorless cameras, some accessories and 1or 2 lenses. The bottom is not padded and zipper doesn't go all the way so hard to configure and can't put lens or body there. The handle is short, I fold the top so my small hand can grab the handle easily. The bag is a bit narrow, wide body has to be stored vertically takes up more space. So this stylish modern bag has more form than function. It's perfect for me. I also have the 20l v2 backpack which Is easier to use but I like this tote better.

Love This Bag - SO Versatile!!
on January 29, 2020

I purchased this bag because it is so versatile. I use it as a work bag and it can easily switch to a camera pack if I decide to go on a hike and take my camera and a few lens. Fits my big 70 - 200mm Canon lens. I was a little nervous about the light beige color collecting dirt, but overall, the fabric seems to resist dirt! Very, very pleased. I have several PeakDesign products and this one lives up to quality and feel I expected.

Perfect Bag for Traveling
on January 30, 2020

I needed a bag I could carry on a plane that wouldn't look like a typical camera bag. I considered the backpacks but landed on the Tote Pack because of its versatility, and I couldn't be happier. Here's what it holds: 2 Canon 5D Mark IV bodies with lenses attached (a 24-70 on one, and a similarly sized lens on the other); 1 Profoto A1 flash; my new Peak Design Travel Tripod; a 13-inch MackBook Pro; an iPad; and various small items in the outer pocket (keys, a couple batteries, memory cards). I also picked up the Tech Pouch at the same time, because I had a feeling the Tote Pack wouldn't hold all my cables and stuff once it was fully loaded, and I was right. So, I can lash the Tech Pouch to the outside of the Tote Pack if I really need to load the Tote Pack all the way. I love that I can use it as a backpack for walking around or, when I'm ready to board a plane, stow the straps away and make for super-easy stowage. Honestly, it's the perfect bag for my needs. I have a ThinkTank International rolling bag that holds EVERYTHING, but it's way too heavy for me to lift and put in an overhead bin, and for most shoots, I really just need a couple lenses and a couple bodies, and that's what the Tote Pack lets me carry. Plus, it just LOOKS good.
