Nice commuter bag.

This is a nice commuter bag. It's a little stiff, and the backpack straps aren't as comfortable as they could be, but overall this is a great bag to commute to and from the office with a laptop, a handful of notes, essentials, and a lunch. In particular, it's nice to be able to separate the bag to make a lower section by putting the divider horizontally near the bottom, to allow for a lunch to go on the bottom to avoid spillage issues. Still plenty of room for laptop in the sleeve and to place full size (8.5x11) notebooks/papers above. With a little creativity you can even sneak a water bottle in the interior with this setup.
Great everyday /office bag ,takes all my stuff with my every camera . I got caught in a very heavy storm ziped up the bag and all my belongings were bone dry. I have a few Peck design bags and they all work well for my needs.
I just bought this bag and I love it so much. I wanted a stylish bag that can follow me from the city to the forest and be enough versatile to hold whatever the gear I need for the day whether i go for bird shooting, macro, street photography or family event. This is it. I am surprised of all the gear I can fit in.
I was skeptical because of the other reviews. After my messenger bag broke and there wasn’t another bag to comfortably house my 15” laptop, I was looking at this bag as a replacement but was deferred by some of the negative “wanted to love it” reviews. After trying the everyday backpack and not really enjoying how the laptop sleeve pocket bulged, I decided to try out the Totepack. I honestly wish I had done so first and sooner. Yes the Totepack is just one main inner compartment, but I like that my computer fits nicely in its designed pocket. I like that the open concept allows you to create a vertical separator for something like a water bottle while still leaving space to pack everything else. If you’re used to the open concept of bags now-a-days this is what I would go with. If you’re more into the compartments for each individual gadget then the everyday backpack is more that style. Both great bags, but I think the Totepack is most similar to a vertical messenger bag.
I got this as a Christmas present in 2023 and I have been using it EVERYDAY ever since. This is the perfectly stylish and practical bag for all purpose - weekdays for work (keeps my notebook, tablet, papers, umbrella, wallet and phone), some evening and weekend bouldering, and I also use this to put my daughter’s water bottle, books and games when I take her out.
I’ve also received compliments from colleagues and friends.
The only problem is I need more of this in a more dirt- resistant color (not black). I love how the bone looks but the dirt is difficult to clean off. Maybe a darker warm shade or the deep red you have for the new roller? Please!
I love my backpack. However, as a woman, the dividers can be limiting for using the bag for other purposes. If the dividers were removable it would be a 5 star.
