Great bag, albeit not perfect

I wanted a nice light backpack that I could commute with in the winter (bus & metro). Big enough to put my daily stuff, but not too big. The EveryDay TotePack was the perfect size. It takes all my daily gear and some, it is very functional, has ton of access and is stylish to boot. I have no issue with the functionality of the bag.
My only concern is the weatherproofing. The material is very good, very resistant. But the zipper are not that resistant. The top zipper resists better because of the tote design, but water can leak through the side zippers in a heavy rain. I have to say, it takes a heavy rain for some time to go through (you'll be fine in a light rain or 5min in a big one), but it is something to be aware of.
To compensate, I bought a North Face Pack Rain Cover, the XS size fits this bag perfectly. I feel that at this price, Peak Design should include a rain cover, it'd make it a perfect combo.
But otherwise, very satisfied with the bag itself. Very comfortable, I love the strap attachment design, it's the perfect urban bag.

Saw someone wearing this in a restaurant and chased them to ask where to find it...debated over the color for too long, but eventually selected the light because I liked the idea of extra protection for those times I *briefly* leave my gear bag in the Texas sun...I'll probably buy just buy black, too.

Beautiful, Well-Built Bag but Not Suitable for Everyone

First, the pros: The construction of the bag is fantastic. I love that the stiff materials and padding allow the back to stay upright on its own. The top handles feel great and I really like how they're contoured around the top of the bag. It's pretty sleek and luxe-looking. The stretchy mesh used throughout also feels great. It's really easy to wipe off dirt and the straps are pretty comfortable.
Before the cons, I should highlight this bag seems like it's designed for an on-the-go photographer/everyday carry hybrid. I was firmly using it as an EDC as I am not a photographer, and in my use case this bag kind of fell flat.
The cons: I was originally thrilled with the modularity of the bag due to the dividers, but I definitely ran into issues with the dividers/side access combo. The zippers do not run the entire length of the bag. Because of this, I couldn't easily access stuff at the bottom of the bag if I mounted a divider horizontally at the lowest setting. So I put the divider at the top, but then this made it really difficult to access the external pocket's contents because the dividers are really stiff and push outwards. I also wished the soft velcro extended all the way horizontally because I had a section for my 1L water bottle that was way too big even though the divider was as far to the side as possible. Finally, the smallest pockets inside the external pocket seem like they fit camera batteries/memory cards but nothing else because they're pretty tiny.

It was a gift for my boyfriend, and he loved it! All his photography equipment fits very well. Feel sure that everything will be safe and protected inside this TotePack. Very comfortable, compact and excellent investment. It has a very professional and elegant look.

Functional & Practical

Though it's on the small side for a camera bag, I find it to be the perfect bag to take when I want to take a camera & pack a lunch, jacket, water bottle, or other daily needs.
I was also pleasantly surprised to find myself using the external straps to carry my jacket or a blanket more often than expected.

Best bag I've ever owned!

Gather around friends, and let me tell you about the best bag I've ever owned: The Everyday Totepack.
The black version ticks ALL of my boxes: recycled materials, vegan, incredible design and functionality, it can comfortably fit my 100-400mm Fujifilm lens with the lens hood attached to the X-T3 (AMAZING) when stored vertically, it perfectly transitions to my everyday work bag and street photography set up, and it's so comfortable to wear! The fact that this is the first PD bag designed by a woman is an added bonus - go Rachel!
I wasn't expecting this bag to be so great for my wildlife photography set up, but it perfectly stores both the 100-400 and 50-140mm telephoto lenses with room to spare. The top opening is so damn satisfying with the magnets, and the weather sealing is excellent - as tested in a Wellington NZ downpour.
I'm 5ft 2 and it is the perfect size - not too big or too small. Can't recommend this bag enough.
