Hearing and smelling gas

Just bought this grill with “expert assembly”. Upon tying to use it for the first time I hear and smell gas every time I open the valve on the propane tank. First time experiencing this with a grill.

Bigger is better

We have a smaller Blackstone, but with 6 people we got the 36” with the hinged lid. Went together easily. I will season it tomorrow, so no review on the cooking. But, our other Blackstone works like a dream, so I don’t expect any problems.
