Love the griddle but the hood is welded improperly and doesn’t sit right

Seasoning and first cook (breakfast tacos) went well enough. I used the Blackstone seasoning in a jar which worked pretty well. I wish they would use an oil other than palm for ethical reasons. Following the online YouTube video made for an easy enough process.
