Plastic knobs on a cast iron grill? Why?

Happy with the grill itself but the “thumb screws” that were sent to attach the stabilizing shelf between the legs have a plastic knob on the end of the screw. The plastic portion was spinning on the threads so although the stabilizing shelf is in place, we were unable to tighten it enough to make the LPG support flush with the legs.

I wanted to make an outdoor kitchen oasis and having the versatility of the blackstone to cook pretty much any type of meal was essential!
I find myself looking forward to getting home to try new recipes on the griddle. My family and I have been using the blackstone almost everyday this summer!
I also love how easy it is to clean and maintain. Look forward for the years to come with my blackstone!
