Held an event and had to cook up dozens of hotdogs and 50+ burgers. This thing made it so easy to get them out quicks and set up was pretty easy. I want a bigger one!

Don’t buy it. It will rust and the products they have to “fix” it don’t work!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sometimes the seasoning on your griddle top can peel a little. This is usually caused by the seasoning drying up and peeling off, or by using too much water when cleaning your griddle. In turn, it can cause the cooking surface to start rusting as well. To be able to fix this, you simply need to scrape off the old seasoning and re-season your griddle top.
To remove the old seasoning, use a metal-edge scraper to scrape off the large bits, and then use oil and griddle stone, steel wool, or even sandpaper to scrub off the old seasoning (similar to our rust removal process). Then scrape off the oil and wipe down the griddle with clean paper towels and a little water, before you re-season the surface.
Here’s a helpful video on how to restore a damaged griddle top—whether that damage is rust or peeling seasoning. It also goes over basic maintenance to help protect your seasoning in the future.
To remove your old seasoning and resurface your griddle top, I recommend purchasing a griddle cleaning kit with a griddle stone. Griddle stones are super abrasive and help remove the old seasoning faster.

It’s an extension of my kitchen and lets me cook a wide variety of meals. As a boy mom I appreciate the capacity! Love the hood and the new grease cup placement over older models.
