First cook success

Assembly and seasoning was simple.
First cook on griddle was also first time cooking on a flat top. No better time to sink or swim than a Memorial day BBQ for a bunch of people. They loves the food. Cooking time was less then half of what it would have been on standard grill. I was able to do 4 corses at once on the 36 inche griddle. Browning my meat , cooking my bacon and carmelising onions and peppers for my baked beans while the beans cooked in a pot to the side on rhe flat top. Still had room and adiquate heat control to get my chicken cooking at the same time. Oh and the burgers huge "SMASH" .
Clean up was easy once I figured out to clean as you cook as water bottle is your friend and also doubles as a tool to help regulate heat.

Great grill, one concern

The Blackstone 36” griddle with hood is a fantastic option for any home. It’s versatile and makes cooking lots of things at once a breeze. The biggest issue is that the heat shield has come broken I’m both grills I received (returned the first) and one a friend received. The rivets that hold the shield to the body shear easily. Thankfully the fix is simple, but it’s really annoying to have that happen for each grill.

Everything is great and it cooks to perfection! The only problem is the hood with just a little wind will blow right down and it’s kinda scary. So maybe some improvement with the hood.
