The extendable shelf is broken. This was a gift to me from my husband. Upon opening it and putting it together, we discovered that the accessory left side shelf will not seat properly and the extender will not lock in place

Absolutely love it!!! We have used it almost every day since getting it. My favorite thing to cook so far......grilled ham & cheese sandwiches on sourdough. SO GOOD! Also a lifesaver when it comes to keeping heat out of the house during the summer!
